Frequently asked questions
Do I need to sign up?
No. transfrumr is read-only and does not offer accounts. Preferences are stored on your device only.
Are there ads?
No advertising. No affiliate links. No paid placement of rumours.
Where does the data come from?
Public RSS feeds from major football outlets and posts from 1st-tier journalists on Bluesky. Sources are listed on /sources.
How is the score calculated?
Three deterministic scores — probability, confidence, heat — computed from rumour stage, source tier, denial weight, and recency. Full formulas are on /methodology.
Why is the default language English?
Because we treat all locales equally and English is the most widely shared football lingua franca. Korean is one of six supported locales, not the default.
Is there an API?
Yes, with a rate limit. Higher quota requires a key — see /api-docs once it is live, or write to data@transfrumr.com.
Can I comment on a rumour?
Not on transfrumr. We intentionally have no comments to keep the surface noise-free.
Can I share a card on social media?
Yes. Every rumour card has a built-in share image with attribution to transfrumr.com.
What if a rumour is wrong?
Use the report button on the card. Confirmed corrections are published in /corrections.
Why no player photos?
We do not host any third-party images. Visual identity is text-based by design (see /legal).
Who runs transfrumr?
An independent editor with no editorial partnerships. See /about and /imprint.
How can I help?
Submit a tip on /submit or suggest a journalist or club via /suggest.
