Anonymous server logs: IP address, user-agent, request path, and timestamp — kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse detection.

Form submissions (tips, corrections, takedown notices, source suggestions, DSR requests): the fields you fill in and an optional email address.

Preferences: locale, view choices, saved filters, and watchlist — stored on your device (cookie or localStorage).

Optional analytics (only when you opt in): aggregated page-view and event data via PostHog with IP masking and no session recording.

Service operation, rate limiting, fraud prevention, and incident debugging.

All processors operate under contractual data-processing agreements. Personal data is transferred only when strictly necessary.
